Ares (/ˈɛəriːz/ IPA, Αρεσ in Olympian) is the Greek god of war. Son of Zeus and Hera, he is one of the most powerful gods of his pantheon. His sector shares borders with Apollo, one of his main rivals, and Aphrodite, his lover.
Almost nothing is known of his past. He's the oldest child of Zeus and Hera, feared by all mortals and despised by many gods in his family, especially Athena. He was one of the gods responsible for the exile of Hestia and he's known to have raped his sister Enyo. 
Immortality: Ares does not age; he has kept his current apparent age for thousands of years.
Flight: Ares can lift his own body telekinetically and move at the speed of light.
Invulnerability: By placing a mental lock on his molecular structure, Ares can prevent his body from being harmed. He can survive for extended periods of time on the surface of a white dwarf star.
Godlike strength: Ares is as strong as he thinks he is; he is considered one of the strongest gods in the Olympian Galaxy.
Godlike stamina: Ares doesn’t need to eat, drink or sleep..
Universal translator: Ares can understand any language instantly. People around him will have the same ability, but it will fade over time without prolonged contact.
