Aphrodite (/æfrəˈdaɪti/ IPA, Απχροδητε in Olympian) is the Greek goddess of sex and love. A pacifist exclusively interested in physical pleasure, she rarely intervenes personally in her family's disputes. Despite having no interest for anything unrelated to sex, she's had an important role in shaping the Olympian Galaxy.

Biography[]

Born hundreds of thousands of years ago from Zeus and the Titan Dione, Aphrodite was pursued by every single god until she unwillingly married Hephaestus. The marriage proved to be unhappy: Aphrodite was repeatedly unfaithful, having children with many of her husband's brothers. When he was involved in the Vulcan War, she did not come to his aide.

After his fall at the hands of Noriko Null, Aphrodite joined the Mortal Alliance as a key ally; she kept most of her territory, acting as a defense against a possible attack by Ares.

Later, she assisted the Vanguard in finding the location of the Dragon Tomb.

Powers[]

As a true goddess, Aphrodite has immense mind-over-matter powers. The full extent of her powers is unknown, mostly because she's not interested in fighting.

Immortality: Aphrodite does not age; she has kept her current apparent age for hundreds of thousands of years.

Flight: Aphrodite can lift her own body telekinetically. It's unknown if she can travel faster than light.

Invulnerability: By placing a mental lock on her molecular structure, Aphrodite can prevent her body from being harmed.

Godlike strength: Aphrodite is as strong as she thinks she is.

Godlike stamina: Aprhodite doesn’t need to eat, drink or sleep.

Universal translator: Aphrodite can understand any language instantly. People around her will have the same ability, but it will fade over time without prolonged contact.

Matter manipulation: Aphrodite is able to change the molecular structure of objects. She has demonstrated this by turning a chair into roses.

Godlike sexual allure: Aphrodite is sexually attractive to every god and mortal, regardless of sexual orientation. Her presence is especially overwhelming for mortals, who require considerable self-control to overcome the hormonal overdrive cause by her proximity.

Trivia[]
